Juniper ("Juniper," "we," "us," or "our") provides a mobile application that helps families and households manage baby and child tracking, tasks, scheduling, messaging, and household staff (nannies/home managers) shift and payroll tracking (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.
3. How information is shared
a) Within your household
Juniper is a shared household app. Information you or other members enter — including child tracking logs, messages, tasks, calendar events, family profile details, and (for household staff) shift and payroll data — is visible to other members of the same household, consistent with each member's role and permissions.
b) Service providers
We share information with a limited number of service providers who help us operate the App:
- Apple (Sign in with Apple, In-App Purchase/StoreKit processing)
- Anthropic (processes text submitted to the Junie AI assistant in order to generate responses and family-profile suggestions)
These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own independent purposes.
c) Legal requirements
We may disclose information if required to do so by law, or in a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with legal process, protect the rights or safety of Juniper, our users, or others, or investigate fraud or security issues.
d) Business transfers
If Juniper is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify users of any such change in ownership.
We do not otherwise sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
4. Children's information
The App is intended for use by adults (parents, guardians, and household staff) managing information on behalf of a household. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly permit children to create their own accounts. Information about children (such as feeding, sleep, or milestone logs) is entered and managed by the adult household member(s) who create and administer the household. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information directly, please contact us at the email below and we will take appropriate steps to remove it.
5. Data retention and deletion
We retain your information for as long as your account and household remain active, or as needed to provide the App's features. You can:
- Delete individual entries (logs, tasks, messages, reminders, etc.) at any time within the App
- Leave a household, or as a household owner, remove other members
- Delete your account entirely from within the App's Settings, which permanently removes your account information and, if you are the household owner, the associated household data from our systems
Some information may be retained for a limited period afterward where necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, or enforce our agreements.
6. Your choices
- Location: You can disable location permissions at any time in your device's Settings. Shift location tracking is off by default and only active between clock-in and clock-out when explicitly enabled by a household.
- Notifications: You can disable push notifications at any time in your device's Settings.
- Photos, Camera, Contacts, Calendar: These permissions are optional and only requested when you use a feature that needs them. You can revoke them at any time in your device's Settings.
- Access/Export/Deletion: You can access, edit, or delete most of your information directly within the App. For anything you can't manage yourself, contact us at the email below.
7. Data security
We use industry-standard measures, including encryption in transit and access controls provided by our infrastructure providers, to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. International users
Our service providers may process and store information on servers located in the United States or other countries. By using the App, you consent to the transfer of information to these locations, which may have different data protection laws than your own country.
9. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal information, or to receive a copy of it in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email below. We will respond in accordance with applicable law.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you through the App or by other reasonable means, and update the "Effective Date" above. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
